R. Dennison Keller
Attorney at Law
Dennison Keller is licensed to practice law in the states of Ohio and Kentucky. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, earning membership in the Order of the Curia. He is also a cum laude graduate of Miami University in Oxford.
He is the President of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association. He also serves on the board, and is the immediate Past President of the Ohio Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys. Dennison has been accredited by the Veterans Administration, and is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association where he participates on the Elder Law Committee. He is also a member of Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel.
In 2006, the Northern Kentucky Law Review published his article Older, Wiser and More Dispensable: ADEA Options Available Under Smith v. Jackson: Desperate Times Call for Disparate Impact, analyzing and predicting the future age discrimination litigation.
Dennison is a frequent local and national lecturer on the topics of Elder Law, Life Care Planning, Medicaid Planning, Veterans Benefits and Estate Planning. He also teaches an annual course on Elder Law at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a continuing education program offered in conjunction with the University of Cincinnati.
Mr. Keller is active in the community, serving as a past President of the Board of the Building Blocks for Kids Foundation, and a past Vice President of the Mariemont Kiwanis Club. He has coached baseball and basketball for various youth leagues including Anderson Township Little League, Upward Basketball, Knothole Baseball and Seven Hills School Baseball. He also serves as a Cantor at St. Vincent Ferrer Parish in Kenwood.
If Dennison looks familiar to you, it could be that you recognize him from WKRC-TV Local 12 where he worked 8 years as a television news journalist and sports anchor. In fact, it was while covering news stories for Channel 12 that he witnessed not only the callousness of elder abuse, but also the heartbreaking consequences that arise when dementia takes hold of a senior before the family can become equipped to deal with the long term care crisis. Ultimately, these experiences inspired Dennison to pursue his career in Elder Law.

Kathryn E. Buerger
Attorney at Law
Kathryn is licensed to practice law in Ohio. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Salmon P.
Chase College of Law in 1997. For the past eleven years, Kathryn has been an attorney with Pro Seniors Inc., counseling Ohio seniors on various legal issues-- Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, probate, estate planning, Powers of Attorney, consumer law issues, and housing issues. Through her tenure at Pro Seniors, Kathryn gained a strong appreciation and compassion for seniors and the problems the senior and his or her family face. She was particularly impressed with the ‘Life Care Plan’ approach that Dennison Keller’s office provides. Kathryn observes that the “The ‘Life Care Plan’ provides not only legal guidance in the wake of the aging individual’s changing needs but also practical support for the senior, their spouse, and their children or other family members. This is invaluable, particularly when the family members are busy working or caring for their children, live out-of-state, or there are no family members left.”
Kathryn received her BBA in Marketing and Management from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. Kathryn has a wide legal resume in her twenty-one years of law practice. She served as a Law Clerk for Common Pleas Judge Ann Marie Tracey and was a Hamilton County Prosecutor handling various juvenile felony cases and municipal court cases. She also has extensive foreclosure experience, representing both creditors and homeowners.
Kathryn serves as the Secretary of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Elder and Special Needs Law Committee. She has served as the Secretary of the Beverly Cottages Parent Group (Godfrey, Illinois) for the past 15 years and she has also served as the group’s fund-raising chair for the past 15 years. This group provides funding for the needs of severely developmentally disabled individuals. Kathryn has also been actively involved as a volunteer in her children’s activities in the Forest Hills School District. She has been a SAY soccer coach, room mom, Girl Scout volunteer and backstage help for numerous play productions.

Joining the practice in 2013, Ms. Bender performs paralegal duties and helps make sure the office is running effectively and efficiently. She is also a Notary Public and a member of the Cincinnati Paralegal Association.
Before transitioning to a career as a paralegal, Karen had a successful 15 year career in marketing and public relations. She served as the marketing director for Tall Stacks 1999 and Tall Stacks 2003. Prior to that, she worked in Cincinnati and Columbus advertising agencies. Karen holds a Professional Certificate in Paralegal Technology and Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
Joining the Law Practice of Dennison Keller, LLC has given her a chance to work directly with clients and their families navigating the legal challenges facing our senior citizens. “Many families do not understand the choices and issues associated with aging and we can help them evaluate their options and make the best decisions for their family member,” comments Karen. When not working, Karen enjoys volunteering for the Kings Band Boosters and several youth sports organizations in the Kings School District supporting her children’s activities.

Lisa Hines Titus, MEd
Elder Care Coordinator
Joining the practice in spring 2008, Ms. Titus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Life Care Planning Team. With more than 25 years of health care experience working with clients, residents and families, Lisa offers our clients and their families solid support to navigate the challenging circumstances of aging and health care.
As the former Education Coordinator of the Alzheimer’s Association, Lisa has helped many families and professionals understand the disease and how to address the changes that come with such a progressive disease.
Ms. Titus has served on the board of the Association of Professionals in Aging, which seeks to advocate for and support not only the aging community but also professionals in this arena of service. She has also been a member of the Southwest Ohio Caregiver Coalition.
Lisa is the former Executive Director of an Alzheimer’s specific assisted living facility, the former Director of Social Services at both for-profit and non-profit long term care facilities and has provided significant training for health care professionals in these settings, specifically on resident rights and dementia care.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts at Georgetown College and her Master of Education with a focus in Community and Family Counseling at the University of Louisville. Lisa took on her role as Elder Care Coordinator at the Law Practice of Dennison Keller recognizing that Life Care Planning is on the cutting edge of Elder Law in the United States. She views the Life Care Planning model as an opportunity to further her life's mission of improving the quality of life of seniors and their families.

Mollie Snyder, LISW
Veterans Benefits Paralegal
Mollie Snyder is a licensed social worker with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has spent more than a decade using her expertise assisting the senior population. She earned her Bachelors of Social Work at the University of Cincinnati in 1995 and completed her Masters degree in Social Work at the University of South Carolina in 2000.
She especially has a passion for working with those that served in the military. For the past decade, Mollie has focused her career on helping veterans and their family access financial and medical services offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. She is a frequent lecturer in the Tri-State on veterans' benefits.
She gets her interest in veterans' issues honestly. Her husband is a retired Air Force Captain, giving Mollie first-hand experience navigating the VA system. The couple has two daughters.
Mollie views her position at the Law Practice of Dennison Keller, LLC as a new front in which she can share her knowledge and expertise to improve the quality of life of veterans who served our country.

Norrie M. Loomis, BSW
Norrie Loomis brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and medical publishing to the practice. She joined Dennison Keller’s Life Care Planning team in the fall of 2018.
Norrie has previously served as a Director of Admissions for a skilled nursing facility where she frequently processed Medicaid applications. She has also worked as a Director of Client Care and a certified Dementia Coach for a home care agency, giving her direct insight into the needs of our region’s aging population. Norrie understands the difficulty of caring for aging loved ones, having also worked for nearly six years at a dialysis clinic in Cincinnati as a Social Worker. In that capacity, Norrie gained substantial experience in the Medicare and Medicaid application process, and the stringent requirements those programs demand of applicants.
Norrie’s loving and caring personality is genuine as she helps clients understand how to navigate Medicaid. She joins clients as a partner to efficiently manage and complete the Medicaid application, and achieve a successful result.
Norrie earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Morehead State University. She completed the Fundamentals of Gerontology Course at the University of Southern California, Davis School of Gerontology in association with the American Society on Aging. Norrie completed intensive training, and was certified as a dementia coach in Teepa Snow’s “Positive Approach to Care” (PAC). She has also completed Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University certification.
As people age, they need a team of committed family, friends, and caring professionals knowledgeable about the challenges of elder law and elder care. Norrie feels The Law Practice of Dennison Keller offers the best team in the tri-state for those coping with these challenges. Norrie is proud to be a part of this mission.

Susan E. Pittman, LPC
Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of clinical experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. After working with many different populations (delinquent juveniles, answering phones at a suicide prevention hotline, and helping severely mentally disabled adults, many of whom were older) she discovered that she most enjoyed working with her elderly clients. She has been the Director of Social Services at Hyde Park Center for Older Adults for the past 25 years where she provides outreach, supportive counseling and casework services to older adults and their families.
Susan is also a certified counselor with the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) which is a program under the Ohio Department of Insurance that provides unbiased information about Medicare. Susan finds this part of her job to be very fulfilling, and it was her interest in helping beneficiaries through the complicated Medicare maze, that led her to this position at our practice in January 2019.
Susan is excited to share her Medicare expertise with our Life Care Plan clients and their families. She enjoys seeing the relief in people’s faces when they find someone who understands the ins and outs of Medicare.

Linda Vogelpohl, RN
Elder Care Coordinator/Kentucky
Linda joined the firm in the spring of 2015 as our elder care coordinator in Kentucky. She is a results driven health care leader with diverse experience including acute care, long term care and community based services. Linda has had a 40 plus year career as a RN with certification in gerontology and is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
Linda possesses a high level of knowledge of aging services from point of entry to home based services working to achieve the highest level of independence and quality of life for our seniors. She also has 25 years of experience in the planning, development and management of aging service programs.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Long-term Care Administration from the College of Mount St. Joseph. Additional aging experience includes hospital-based acute and skilled nursing as a Director of Nursing; community based experience in Adult Day Care and home health services as Executive Director; and as nurse consultant for individual families dealing with dementia care in Assisted Living and long-term care.
On joining the Law Practice of Dennison Keller, LLC, Linda comments, “In over 40 years in healthcare I have seen many families struggle with navigating the financial and legal issues of aging, as well as the levels of care and Medicare and Medicaid. I know Northern Kentuckians need the care and concern provided by the firm. Debbie Groh, RN
Elder Care Coordinator
Debbie is a Registered Nurse with more than 32 years of dedicated geriatric long-term care experience in the Greater Cincinnati area. She earned her nursing degree from Northern Kentucky University and is licensed as a Registered Nurse in both Ohio and Kentucky.
She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise working with seniors and their loved ones to navigate the complex issues that arise with aging. She has experience working in a facility specializing in long term nursing home care, assisted living, and short term rehabilitation. She has worked as an Assistant Director of Nursing, Nursing Supervisor, Rehab/Restorative Nurse Coordinator, Privacy and Corporate Compliance Officer, and Director of Admissions and Marketing.
Debbie joined the Life Care Planning Team at the Law Practice of Dennison Keller, LLC in 2016 and is very excited to continue her passion for working with the elderly and their families with this very challenging time in their lives. She has the knowledge and sincere desire to listen, support and guide you with your individual needs.

Sandra Hardin joined the practice in the spring of 2017. Sandra performs paralegal duties, client management and administrative duties. She is the first person most of our clients speak to when they call the office, and her warm and helpful spirit are just a few of the things callers mention when they call us.
Prior to coming to The Law Practice of Dennison Keller, Sandra had a successful 15 year career in operation management with legal practices and 10 years of operations management with local banking institutions. She brings many skills to her current position which smooth the way for the work we do for our clients every day.
Sandra enjoys the opportunity to work directly with clients and their families, navigating the legal challenges they are facing. When not working, Sandra enjoys volunteering for the community.
